This is a great opportunity for a qualified Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer who genuinely enjoys traditional residential conveyancing and takes pride in guiding clients through one of the most important transactions of their lives. Our client is growing their Residential Property team and is looking for someone who enjoys the pace of conveyancing, values quality and relationships, and wants a role with real responsibility, including day-to-day supervision, support and oversight of a small team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll manage a full traditional residential conveyancing caseload from after instruction through to completion, while leading and supervising a team within the department.
- Managing a varied traditional residential conveyancing caseload with a proactive, client-focused approach.
- Line managing, supervising and supporting conveyancing assistants and fee earners.
- Maintaining consistently high standards of client service, communication and responsiveness.
- Meeting personal and team billing, gross profit and cash-recovery targets.
- Managing the financial aspects of files in line with agreed write-off parameters.
- Ensuring files are opened, progressed and managed in line with internal processes and agreed service levels.
- Supporting business growth through conversion of enquiries and cross-selling of services.
- Maintaining accurate client, matter and enquiry data and using case management systems effectively.
- Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
