If you are an employment solicitor at NQ level or in the early stages post-qualification and you want high-quality work, strong supervision and a clear platform to build your career, this is an excellent opportunity in Northampton.

Our client is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join a Legal 500 recognised team. • Providing day-to-day employment law and HR advice to employer clients
  • Assisting with data protection and workplace compliance issues
  • Supporting senior colleagues on complex employment disputes and strategic advisory work
  • Providing employment law support in connection with corporate transactions and M&A activity
  • Contributing to business development activity over time, with support from an established marketing function

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor (England and Wales)
  • NQ+ with a genuine interest in employment law
  • Comfortable working across both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to advise in a clear, practical way
  • Commercial awareness and interest in building long-term client relationships
  • A collaborative working style and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues

What’s On Offer

  • Salary of £40,000 to £55,000 plus bonus and benefits
  • Pension scheme with employer match up to 4%
  • BUPA (eligible roles only, subject to passing probation)
  • Group income protection (eligible roles only) paying a percentage of salary after 6 months’ sickness absence
  • Death in service benefit (after qualifying period) paying 3x salary
  • Competitive holiday entitlement increasing with length of service
  • Paid volunteer leave
  • Long service awards
  • Discounted health club and gym memberships
  • Flexible benefits including the option to purchase additional annual leave, health screening and a retail discounts scheme
  • Salary sacrifice car scheme (including hybrid and electric vehicles), with planned EV charging point rollout across offices
