Our client, a nationally recognised law firm with over 1,000 colleagues Nationwide, is seeking a Property Litigation Senior Associate with circa 3-7 years' PQE to join their formidable Milton Keynes Dispute Resolution team.
The Role: As a Property Litigation Senior Associate, you will work alongside more senior members of the team and on your own matters, handling high-value and complex property disputes and projects. You will be based in the firm's Milton Keynes office. The team's typical work is wide-ranging, and you will be involved in diverse and challenging property litigation matters. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handling all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant matters
- Managing development disputes
- Advising on disputes relating to land, including easements, restrictive covenants, and rights to light
- Working on high-value and complex property disputes and projects
- Working alongside more senior members of the team on complex matters
- Managing your own caseload of property litigation matters
- Advising clients across multiple sectors, including substantial regional businesses, UK-wide clients, and international clients
- Advising household-name corporate clients
- Building and developing client relationships
- Contributing to business development activities
- Providing exceptional client service with commercially focused advice
- Staying current with developments in property litigation law and practice
- Collaborating with colleagues across the national Dispute Resolution team
About You: Essential Requirements:
- 3-7 years' PQE with at least 3 years' litigation experience
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
- Excellent legal capability with strong attention to detail
- Strong technical knowledge of litigation practice and procedure
- Excellent drafting and advocacy skills
- Strong client care skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Commercially focused with pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Adaptable, organised, and enthusiastic
- Eager to learn and develop within property litigation
- Interest in business development
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
