Commercial Litigation Solicitor
Location: Manchester (hybrid working)
Salary: £70,000 to £95,000 plus bonus and benefits
Experience: 5 to 10 years’ PQE

You’ll join a busy, well-regarded Dispute Resolution team in Manchester, working with a varied client base including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals. The work is interesting and genuinely broad, and you’ll be trusted with autonomy while still having the support of a collaborative team around you.
The Opportunity This role offers the chance to take ownership of a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, with exposure across both court work and ADR. You’ll also be encouraged to get involved in business development and networking in a way that feels natural and supported.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a caseload of commercial litigation matters from instruction through to resolution
- Advising on contractual disputes and wider commercial disputes
- Handling shareholder disputes and business ownership disputes
- Advising on partnership disputes
- Managing professional negligence claims
- Supporting on debt recovery and enforcement matters
- Advising on injunctive relief applications where required
- Handling commercial and property-related disputes
- Supporting clients through ADR, including mediation
- Building strong client relationships through clear, practical advice and excellent client care
- Contributing to business development and supporting the continued growth of the team
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with 5 to 10 years’ PQE in commercial litigation
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with a practical approach to problem-solving
- Confidence running a complex caseload with appropriate autonomy
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable contributing to networking and business development
- Collaborative working style and a genuine team-first attitude
