Our clients Banking & Finance group is known for its sharp commercial edge and is the go-to advisor for complex matters acting for major UK financial institutions, challenger banks, specialist lenders and a wide range of borrowers across the UK, Europe and the US.
The Opportunity
- Advise on general banking acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance and asset-based lending.
- Draft and negotiate facility agreements, LMA agreements, credit agreements and related documentation.
- Act for major clearing banks, challenger banks, specialist lenders and borrower clients.
- Support private equity management teams and debt funders on a range of debt structures (including unitranche and mezzanine/second lien).
- Work on real estate acquisitions, investments, developments and portfolio management.
- Engage in business development activities as part of a rapidly growing national team.

What We're Looking For
- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 4-7 years PQE in banking & finance.
- Strong technical and negotiation skills.
- Experience drafting facility agreements and related banking documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Team player with a proactive can-do attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail, discretion and professionalism.
