The Role: High-Quality Private Wealth Advisory Work
As a Private Wealth Solicitor, you will manage a varied caseload and develop your expertise across the full spectrum of private client matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing your own caseload of Wills, trusts, and estate planning matters
- Advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
- Handling estate administration, including complex and taxable estates
- Supporting clients with Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning
- Advising on the creation, administration, and winding up of trusts
- Building strong, long-term client relationships with HNW individuals (£2m–£20m assets)
- Supporting junior colleagues including trainees and paralegals
- Contributing to marketing and business development activity

What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales)
- 1–4 years’ PQE in Private Client / Private Wealth law
- Experience managing your own private client caseload
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Wills and estate planning
- Trusts and estate administration
- IHT and CGT planning
- LPAs
Desirable:
- Experience working with HNW clients or complex estates
- Interest in business development and networking
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
