Are you a qualified solicitor with a passion for corporate law and a desire to make your mark in a high‐performing, collaborative team? Our client, a prominent and expanding law firm, is seeking two talented Corporate Solicitors (1–3 years' PQE) to join their Ipswich office. This is a unique opportunity to work on high‐value, complex transactions alongside respected partners and senior fee earners, with clear routes for career advancement.
About the Role
- Advise on complex corporate transactions including investments, acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and restructurings
- Support partners and senior fee earners across the firmwide Corporate Team
- Manage disclosure and due diligence processes, datarooms, and transaction documentation
- Draft, review, and execute legal documents (SPA, APA, Investment Agreements, ancillary documents)
- Prepare transaction bibles and coordinate completion logistics (including DocuSign)
- Conduct discrete research projects using knowhow resources (Practical Law, FromCounsel)
- Engage directly with clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal and commercial awareness
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1–3 years' PQE in corporate mergers and acquisitions
- Demonstrable experience supporting senior lawyers on a range of corporate matters
- Technical proficiency in transaction management, disclosure, due diligence, and document drafting
- Up-to-date knowledge of corporate law and recent developments
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience in sectors such as private equity, venture capital, capital markets, or reorganisations is advantageous but not essential
