Combining city-caliber transactions with a flexible, non-bureaucratic working environment, they are seeking a driven Senior Associate to manage complex cross-border and UK mid-market deals, drive client acquisition, and fast-track their progression toward Partnership.

The Opportunity

In this high-impact position, you will lead on a diverse, high-value caseload spanning corporate M&A, joint ventures, commercial contracts, corporate finance, and financial regulatory advice for an enviable client base of entrepreneurs, growth-stage tech businesses, investors, and established mid-market companies. Designed for a commercially minded senior solicitor with strong client-building acumen, this role offers genuine autonomy, direct partner collaboration, and an exceptional remuneration structure featuring a lucrative, uncapped 15% commission on all billings alongside a transparent route to Partner level.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Qualifications & Experience: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 5+ years’ PQE specialising in Corporate, Commercial, and Financial Law within a reputable UK legal practice.

• Technical Mastery: Deep transactional expertise across M&A, share/asset purchases, joint ventures, corporate restructures, shareholder agreements, commercial drafting (IT, IP, supply, distribution), and corporate finance/financial regulatory compliance.

• Client Following & Business Development: A proven track record of business development with an existing portable following or demonstrated capability to generate and convert new client leads.

• Commercial Leadership: Leading complex transactions from inception to completion, conducting rigorous due diligence, drafting bespoke commercial documentation, and negotiating directly with opposing counsel.

• Team Supervision: Mentoring and delegating work to junior associates, paralegals, and trainees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Package & Working Structure

• Exceptional Earning Potential: £80,000 – £95,000 base salary per annum plus uncapped 15% commission on all personal billings, offering market-leading overall financial yield.
