Our client, a growing and entrepreneurial London law firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join its expanding team. This opportunity is ideal for a lawyer with an existing client following who wants the support of an established firm whilst benefiting from a highly attractive fee-share arrangement. The Opportunity

As a key member of the Corporate & Commercial team, you will manage your own client relationships whilst delivering practical and commercially focused legal advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters
  • Manage client relationships and develop your existing network
  • Generate and maintain monthly billings of £10,000+
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
  • Advise on corporate transactions and business structuring matters
  • Support business owners, SMEs and corporate clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider firm
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and revenue growth

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales
  • 5+ years PQE in Corporate and Commercial law
  • Strong technical knowledge across corporate and commercial matters
  • Demonstrable client following and referral network
  • Ability to generate or maintain £10,000+ monthly billings
  • Commercially aware with excellent client relationship skills
  • Proven business development capability
  • Experience managing matters independently

Highly Desirable

  • Existing work in progress and transferable clients
  • Experience developing a practice area
  • Finance or banking transaction experience
  • Ambitions to progress into leadership or departmental management
