The Opportunity

Our client is a highly regarded, technologically excellent law firm situated in the heart of London. Due to strategic growth, they are seeking an ambitious Associate (4+ PQE) to join their collaborative team. You will have the unique opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and build trusted relationships with a high-calibre client base, including high-net-worth individuals, developers, investors, and luxury retail brands, all while receiving dedicated Partner support. Your Role and Focus

You will take a proactive approach to a wide range of commercial property transactions, from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading on commercial acquisitions and disposals.
  • Handling all aspects of landlord and tenant matters, including lease negotiations.
  • Advising on property finance transactions for both lenders and borrowers.
  • Providing essential commercial property support for corporate acquisitions, disposals, and restructurings.
  • Managing diverse asset management work for established portfolios.

Our Specific Requirements

This role requires a dedicated and technically gifted Commercial Property specialist.

Essential Experience & Technical Skills:

  • A qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) specializing in Commercial Property.
  • Previous experience gained at a respected City, West End, or top-tier regional law firm.
  • Strong technical skills and demonstrable experience across the entire transaction lifecycle for acquisitions, disposals, L&T, and property finance.
  • Proven ability to manage a busy, experience-appropriate caseload independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience acting for developers, investors, or high-net-worth individuals is advantageous.

Aptitude and Ambition:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to advise sophisticated clients.
  • A collaborative, team-led approach and a genuine interest in business development and practice growth.
  • A proactive, commercial mindset with a reliable billing record and a commitment to exceptional client service.
