The Opportunity
Join a High-Calibre Commercial Litigation Team. As a Commercial Litigation Associate (3 PQE), you will work on a diverse and challenging caseload, gaining exposure to both contentious advisory work and high-profile disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including:
- Breach of contract claims
- Shareholder and company law disputes
- Fraud and asset recovery matters
- Draft inter-partes correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, and interim applications
- Conduct legal research and deliver clear, commercially focused advice
- Liaise with counsel, experts, and key stakeholders throughout proceedings
- Support on complex High Court litigation and arbitration matters
- Attend client meetings, mediations, and court hearings
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key day-to-day contact
- Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives
About You
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ PQE gained within a recognised UK law firm
- Strong background in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
- Experience handling matters independently as well as working within larger teams
Technical Expertise
- Excellent drafting skills across litigation documents and submissions
- Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation strategy
- Ability to provide commercial, pragmatic legal advice
- Confident handling of client communications and case strategy
