This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys a mixed tax role and is seeking flexibility, career progression, and greater client responsibility within a collaborative environment. The Role: Mixed Tax Exposure & Client Responsibility. This is a broad and varied position, offering exposure across both personal and corporate tax.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns for a varied client base
- Assisting with corporation tax computations and filings
- Supporting on tax advisory assignments alongside senior staff
- Managing day-to-day client communications and queries
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- Ensuring compliance with current UK tax legislation and deadlines
- Supporting junior team members where appropriate
What We’re Looking For: We are keen to speak with candidates who have:
- 2–4 years’ UK accountancy practice experience (essential)
- Experience in mixed tax (personal and corporate preferred)
- Currently studying towards, or part-qualified in, ATT / ACA / ACCA
- Solid understanding of UK tax compliance and regulations
- Experience with tax software (e.g. IRIS, CCH) and cloud platforms (e.g. Xero, Sage)
- Strong communication skills with confidence in client-facing work
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
