A well-established chartered accountancy practice in Leeds is expanding its audit team and looking to appoint an experienced Audit Senior.

The Role

You’ll lead on-site audit assignments for a varied portfolio of owner‑managed and family‑run businesses, managing audit teams and delivering high‑quality audits from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading on‑site audit fieldwork and managing audit assignments
• Supervising and supporting junior audit staff during fieldwork
• Completing audit files and drafting audited financial statements
• Liaising directly with clients and presenting audit findings
• Ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements
• Reporting progress to Audit Managers and Partners

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 4 years’ UK external audit experience
• Experience leading on‑site audit fieldwork
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
• Confident communicator with leadership potential
• Full UK driving licence (for client site visits)
