Our client is looking to recruit a Litigation Executive to join its Leeds team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys running a busy caseload, wants exposure to high quality work, and values a supportive, well-resourced environment. You will be part of a large UK firm with a national platform, known for an innovative approach and a focus on practical, client-led solutions.
The Role
- Managing your own litigation caseload from instruction to conclusion
- Drafting clear, accurate correspondence and court documents
- Progressing matters in line with court timetables and internal service standards
- Liaising with clients, opponents, experts, counsel and the court
- Supporting on settlement strategy, negotiation and dispute resolution
- Preparing for hearings, including bundles, witness evidence and instructions where required
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a consistent client experience
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent litigation experience
- 1 to 5 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) within a litigation environment
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- Confident client communication and a practical, commercial approach
- Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a busy caseload
- Comfortable using case management systems and standard IT tools
Desirable:
- Experience of ADR, negotiation or mediation
- Exposure to higher value or more complex matters
- Experience working as part of a wider team on multi-party disputes
