Our client is looking to recruit a Family Law Paralegal to join a busy and supportive family team. The firm is known for developing talent and giving people genuine exposure to live matters, with modern ways of working and a culture that encourages learning and progression. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting fee earners across a range of private family matters
- Assisting with file progression from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Drafting correspondence, attendance notes and court documents (with supervision)
- Preparing bundles and supporting hearing preparation
- Liaising with clients, courts, counsel and other third parties
- Managing deadlines and keeping files accurate, well-organised and up to date
- Undertaking legal research and supporting case strategy preparation where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a family law paralegal role is preferred
- Strong written communication and excellent attention to detail
- A calm, empathetic and professional approach to client care
- Good organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using case management systems and standard Microsoft packages
