A well-established, ambitious corporate team in Leeds is looking to appoint a Corporate Legal Director. This is a senior role for someone who enjoys autonomy, high-quality work, and building long-term client relationships. You will be trusted to run complex matters with limited partner input, while working in a collaborative environment where challenges are treated as opportunities and your development is taken seriously.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload and client relationships, advising a broad client base including owner-managed businesses, larger corporates and listed companies. Work is primarily UK-based, with some international scope. The work will include:

  • Mergers and acquisitions
  • Private equity investments and buyouts
  • Joint ventures
  • Reorganisations
  • Corporate governance and advisory work

You will also play an active role in supporting the wider team, including supervising and developing junior lawyers and contributing to team projects.
