Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a well-established private client team in Kettering. This is a key hire into a busy and growing department, offering high-quality work, a strong existing client base, and the chance to play a supportive leadership role within the team. The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a varied private client caseload, likely to include:
- Wills and estate planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Inheritance Tax planning
- Trust creation and administration
- Support and supervise junior members of the team
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues
- Help maintain high standards of client care and compliance within the department
- Work closely with the Head of Team and contribute to a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Ideally 5+ years PQE (as a guide, flexibility considered)
- Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, estate administration, IHT and trusts
- Confident supporting and supervising junior colleagues
- Organised, commercially aware and approachable
- Enjoys building relationships with clients and professional referrers
- STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential
