The Role – Senior Associate, Corporate Law

In this senior position, you will handle a broad range of corporate matters, including:

  • Mergers & acquisitions (M&A) – leading transactions from inception to completion
  • Private equity and venture capital investments
  • Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
  • Drafting and negotiating shareholders’ agreements, SPAs, and investment agreements
  • Advising on corporate governance and regulatory matters
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Supporting and supervising junior team members
  • Contributing to business development and networking initiatives

You will gain exposure to high-value, complex transactions, working with a diverse client base including SMEs, investors, and entrepreneurial businesses.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
  • 5–8 years’ PQE in Corporate Law within a UK law firm
  • Strong experience leading or playing a key role in M&A and corporate transactions
  • Excellent technical knowledge of company law and corporate governance
  • Proven ability to manage transactions independently
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (preferred)
  • A proactive approach to client relationship management and business development
