The Role: What You’ll Do
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services
- Mentor and co-lead a talented team of accountants, supporting their growth and performance
- Drive business development, identifying opportunities for firm-wide growth and cross-referrals
- Work closely with Directors and Partners to help shape the firm’s future direction
- Ensure compliance and exceptional client service across all engagements
What We’re Looking For Qualifications & Experience
- ACA or ACCA qualified (minimum 3+ years’ UK practice experience, PQE)
- Experience as a Senior Accountant, Manager, Senior Manager, or salaried Associate in practice
- Proven ability to manage your own workload and support team development
- Demonstrated ambition for leadership and long-term career progression
- Strong IT skills (Office 365, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
- Expertise with accounts preparation software (preferably IRIS and MyWorkpapers)
- Track record of managing mixed client portfolios and driving business development
- Previous experience in a client-facing role, including meetings with new prospects
