The Opportunity

As a Commercial & Residential Property Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload whilst working closely with colleagues and clients across a wide range of property matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Handling commercial property acquisitions and disposals
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers, licences and associated legal documentation
  • Advising landlords and tenants on commercial and residential matters
  • Managing lease renewals, assignments and lease extensions
  • Conducting title investigations and due diligence
  • Advising on secured lending and refinancing transactions
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, agents, developers and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations
  • Supporting business development initiatives and client relationship management

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Minimum 3 years' PQE within property law
  • Experience gained within a UK legal practice
  • Proven ability to manage a mixed property caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing and commercial property transactions
  • Experience handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord & tenant matters
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong client care and relationship management abilities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach
