Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their Corby office. This is a role for someone who is technically strong and comfortable running a private client caseload independently, without day-to-day supervision. You will support clients across the local area and play a visible part in building the private client offering in Corby. A key part of the position is relationship building and business development. You will be encouraged to work closely with colleagues in the wider commercial teams in Corby and develop referrals and introductions that help grow the client base.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You will manage your own caseload, advising on a broad range of private client matters, including:
    • Wills
    • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
    • Estates and administration
    • Estate and inheritance planning
    • Trusts
  • You will also:
    • Build relationships with commercial colleagues and commercial clients to develop private client instructions
    • Take an active role in business development and networking in the local market
    • Provide a high standard of client care, with clear and practical advice

What We’re Looking For

  • Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Ideally 3+ years PQE (as a guide)
  • Strong technical private client experience across wills, probate, trusts, and LPAs
  • Confident running files independently from instruction to completion
  • Commercial mindset and a genuine interest in business development
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
