If you’re a senior residential conveyancer who enjoys running matters end-to-end, leading a team, and building strong relationships with clients and referrers, this is a great opportunity to join and develop an expanding Residential Conveyancing team in Leicester.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Conveyancer to help manage and grow the team. You’ll be trusted to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision, while also supporting performance, compliance and business development.
This is a key hire for a growing team. You’ll combine hands‑on conveyancing with leadership, helping to maintain high standards of client care and efficient ways of working. If you do not currently hold a formal qualification, the firm is open to supporting your development (including CLC or SQE) for the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
- Sale and purchase (including leasehold and new-build)
- Remortgage
- Equity release
- Transfer of equity
- Leading and managing a residential conveyancing team
- Building and developing relationships with clients and referrers
- Driving business development activity to support team growth
- Working confidently with case management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Maintaining strong compliance standards, including file management and process adherence
- Prioritising competing deadlines and keeping matters progressing smoothly
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working in a busy residential property team
- Strong technical conveyancing experience across sales, purchases, remortgages and related matters
- Team management experience (essential)
- Confidence working with minimal supervision
- Strong client care and relationship-building skills with clients and referrers
- IT literate with working knowledge of case management systems
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and compliance mindset
- Genuine interest in business development and growing a team
- If you are not formally qualified, the firm is open to supporting CLC or SQE progression
