About the Role
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you'll manage your own caseload of commercial property matters whilst receiving support and supervision from experienced partners and senior solicitors. You'll work on a broad range of transactions for commercial clients, from SMEs to larger corporate organisations, gaining valuable experience across all aspects of commercial property law.

Your Caseload Will Include:
- Commercial Property Sales & Acquisitions – Acting for buyers and sellers on freehold and leasehold transactions
- Commercial Leases – Drafting and negotiating leases for landlords and tenants across retail, office, and industrial sectors
- Property Finance – Supporting clients with secured lending and refinancing transactions
- Development & Planning – Advising on development agreements, option agreements, and planning matters
- Property Portfolio Management – Assisting clients with ongoing property management and compliance
- Landlord & Tenant Matters – Lease renewals, rent reviews, assignments, and subletting
- Due Diligence – Conducting title investigations and property searches for corporate transactions
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
- 1-3 years' PQE in commercial property law within a UK legal practice
- Solid technical foundation across commercial property transactions and leases
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail
- Excellent client care abilities – able to communicate complex legal matters clearly
- Proactive and organised – capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously
- Team player with a willingness to learn and develop
Desirable:
- Experience with development work or property finance
- Knowledge of agricultural property or residential development
- Exposure to landlord and tenant disputes or property litigation
- Ambition to progress to senior associate or partnership level
