Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Executive Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support within a busy Private Client team in Clitheroe. This is a key role in a fast-paced department, suited to someone who is organised, accurate and professional, and who enjoys supporting colleagues to deliver an excellent client experience. Strong IT skills are important, as the role involves extensive use of a case management system.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and maintaining department files (hard copy and electronic), including matter opening, ID checks, data updates, matter closing, archiving and ongoing file management
  • Producing, formatting and filing documents, copies and scans
  • Supporting compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes
  • Managing the billing process and liaising with the Finance team
  • Technical typing
  • Handling incoming calls for the team
  • Managing diaries and arranging meetings
  • Contributing to operational reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in legal administration, ideally within a private client department
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Confident, proactive approach and a desire to learn and progress
  • Strong IT skills and confidence working with case management systems
  • Confident client-facing manner and a collaborative working style
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm

Desirable:

  • Experience using the SOS case management system
