The Role
- You’ll manage a mixed family law caseload, covering private and legally aided matters, with responsibility from instruction through to conclusion.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Handling a broad range of family matters, including private children, divorce/financial remedy, and legal aid work
- Managing your own files with appropriate supervision and support
- Building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of client care
- Supporting the wider team as needed and contributing to the continued growth of the department
What Our Client Is Looking For
- To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 2-3 years’ + PQE in Family Law
- Demonstrable experience managing both private family matters and legal aid cases
- Strong working knowledge of Family Procedure Rules
- Legal Aid Agency processes and compliance (where applicable)
- Drafting and advocacy preparation
- Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
