The Role

  • You’ll manage a mixed family law caseload, covering private and legally aided matters, with responsibility from instruction through to conclusion.
  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Handling a broad range of family matters, including private children, divorce/financial remedy, and legal aid work
  • Managing your own files with appropriate supervision and support
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of client care
  • Supporting the wider team as needed and contributing to the continued growth of the department

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • To be considered, you’ll ideally have:
  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ + PQE in Family Law
  • Demonstrable experience managing both private family matters and legal aid cases
  • Strong working knowledge of Family Procedure Rules
  • Legal Aid Agency processes and compliance (where applicable)
  • Drafting and advocacy preparation
  • Confident communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
