As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead client delivery, develop talent, and drive the firm’s tax offering forward. The Role: Corporate Tax Manager Based in the Greater Manchester area (hybrid working available), you will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients while leading a team and supporting the wider business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review complex corporate tax computations and returns, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
  • Lead the delivery of corporate tax advisory and planning projects
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, maintaining strong relationships and delivering exceptional service
  • Oversee work in progress, billing and recoverability across your portfolio
  • Provide technical training, mentoring and line management to Tax Seniors, Assistants and Assistant Managers
  • Identify and drive business development and advisory opportunities
  • Collaborate with Partners and cross-service teams to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Support recruitment and team development, including graduate intakes
  • Ensure the team remains up to date with corporate tax legislation and regulatory changes
About You

We are seeking a commercially aware and technically strong Corporate Tax professional with proven leadership capability.

Essential Requirements
  • CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA with strong Corporate Tax focus)
  • 5–8+ years’ UK Practice experience in Corporate Tax (compliance & advisory)
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation and tax planning
  • Demonstrable experience in:
    • Managing client portfolios
    • Reviewing complex tax work
    • Leading and developing teams
  • Proven ability to identify and deliver advisory opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
Desirable Skills
  • Experience using Alphatax
  • Exposure to complex group structures and transactions
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record in business development
