Are you an experienced Property Solicitor looking for an opportunity to handle a diverse mix of both commercial and residential property matters within a supportive and forward-thinking firm? Our client is seeking a talented Commercial & Residential Property Solicitor to join their established property team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad and loyal client base, manage high-quality transactions from start to finish, and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful practice.
As a Commercial & Residential Property Solicitor, you will manage your own varied caseload whilst delivering practical, commercially focused legal advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a diverse caseload of commercial and residential property transactions
- Advising clients on property acquisitions and disposals
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers and associated legal documentation
- Advising on landlord and tenant matters
- Managing lease extensions and remortgages
- Assisting with commercial leases, renewals and assignments
- Conducting title reviews and due diligence investigations
- Liaising with clients, lenders, agents and other stakeholders
- Maintaining excellent client service standards throughout the transaction process
- Supporting business development and networking activities where appropriate
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 3 years' PQE in Commercial and/or Residential Property
- Experience gained within a UK legal practice
- Proven ability to manage a property caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
- Experience advising on commercial property transactions
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of Land Registry procedures and property legislation
- Outstanding client care and relationship management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
