Start your conveyancing career with a clear pathway to qualification. Our client is looking to recruit a Junior Conveyancer to join a busy residential property team in Hale. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in property law. The role offers structured support, hands-on learning, and the chance to develop in a collaborative, office-based environment. Eligible to apply for a trainee solicitor contract after 12 months’ service.
You will support senior conveyancers with day-to-day file progression, helping to keep transactions moving smoothly and ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout. The working environment is office-based to support training, collaboration, and day-to-day support.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with the preparation and review of legal documents for residential conveyancing matters
- Supporting the team in managing client files and maintaining accurate, up-to-date records
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other stakeholders to progress transactions
- Organising appointments, meetings, and key deadlines to support timely completion
- Conducting basic title checks and verifying property information using relevant IT systems
- Ensuring documentation complies with legal standards and internal procedures
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive client information at all times
- Supporting continuous improvement of internal processes and ways of working
- Previous experience as a residential conveyancing paralegal, junior conveyancer, or similar is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Excellent organisation and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Salary of £24,000 to £30,000 (dependent on experience)
- Employee bonus scheme of up to an additional 10% of salary annually (T&Cs apply)
