Our client is expanding their Commercial Property team and is open to speaking with lawyers from around 2 years PQE upwards (and potentially slightly below for the right person). You will join a collaborative, supportive group where partners are accessible, mentoring is part of the culture, and you will be trusted to shape your working day.
You will work with a broad client base including landowners, commercial property owners, developers, housebuilders and agricultural clients on a varied and often complex caseload. There is real scope to broaden your technical experience, take on more sophisticated transactions, and develop your career in a sustainable way.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing your own matters while also supporting on larger, more complex transactions
- Handling sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold commercial and residential property
- Advising on land acquisitions and disposals, including conditional contracts
- Working on promotion agreements
- Drafting and negotiating commercial and residential leases
- Supporting development work including site acquisitions and disposals, option agreements, overage agreements, planning and infrastructure agreements and plot sales
- Advising on easements
- Supporting secured lending and property portfolio financing
- Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new clients
- Delivering excellent client care and contributing to business development activity
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in commercial property (or closely related property work)
- Comfortable managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision
- Strong drafting skills and a practical, client-focused approach
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in being part of a growing team
- Confidence building relationships and getting involved in networking and business development
