Our client is a well-established and fast-evolving business, with a growing international footprint. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the organisation has experienced sustained growth in recent years through a combination of strategic expansion and operational development. The business is entering its next phase, investing heavily in systems, infrastructure and leadership capability to support long-term scalability.

With an increasing focus on financial governance, cash visibility and robust control frameworks, this is a pivotal time to join an exciting business that is people-focused and has an exceptional culture. The organisation combines entrepreneurial energy with strengthening international structure, offering the opportunity to step into a role where you can make a genuine impact during a period of transformation and continued growth.

The Role

In this Financial Operations Manager role, you will oversee a transactional team (AP) and (AR) teams, with the opportunity to make a real impact by integrating some core processes. The business is at an exciting stage in their journey, growing, evolving and strengthening its financial infrastructure to support long-term scalability. Cash, controls and operational visibility have never been more important.

As Financial Operations Manager, you'll have the full autonomy to make this a best-in-class environment. You will define what best practice looks like, put robust, scalable processes in place and ensure they genuinely work from start to finish. You'll be trusted to take ownership, challenge where needed, operate with a firm but fair approach, and bring conviction to your decisions.

This is a role for someone who understands what a strong end-to-end transactional process should look like, enjoys testing it, refining it, and embedding it. You will ensure the accurate and timely invoicing, supplier payments and customer collections are all working as they should be, both from a people perspective and a process perspective. You will own all month-end close processes related to transactional finance and run a number of projects, including identifying inefficiencies and leading automation initiatives.

You will work closely with a number of stakeholders across the business, driving impactful change collaboratively. This is a role for you if you enjoy being in a leadership position, being in the detail, making improvements and seeing them through to completion. You'll take pride in building a function that works, not just on paper, but in practice, and enjoy developing those around you, demonstrating strong leadership and setting the tone for accountability and high standards.

If you're motivated by visibility, ownership and the opportunity to shape something meaningful, this is a role where you can truly make your mark. You'll be a confident finance professional who leads from the front, firm but fair in your approach, with strong knowledge and experience of managing a transactional finance team.

  • Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
