The Role
In this Financial Operations Manager role, you will oversee a transactional team (AP) and (AR) teams, with the opportunity to make a real impact by integrating some core processes. The business is at an exciting stage in their journey, growing, evolving and strengthening its financial infrastructure to support long-term scalability. Cash, controls and operational visibility have never been more important.
As Financial Operations Manager, you will have the full autonomy to make this a best-in-class environment. You will define what "best practice" looks like, put robust, scalable processes in place, and ensure they genuinely work from start to finish. You will be trusted to take ownership, challenge where needed, operate with a firm but fair approach, and bring conviction to your decisions.
This role is for someone who understands what a strong end-to-end transactional process should look like, enjoys testing it, refining it, and embedding it. You will not just identify improvements but drive them through to completion.
Your role will cover ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing, supplier payments and customer collections are all working as they should be, both from a people perspective and a process perspective. You will own all month-end close processes related to transactional finance and run a number of projects, including identifying inefficiencies, measurable improvements, and leading automation initiatives. You will work closely with a number of stakeholders across the business, all driving impactful change collaboratively.
