Job description

This manufacturing business has gone from strength to strength in the recent years with additional sites, increased manufacturing and significant headcount growth. Due to the ongoing growth and recent review of the finance team, the Finance Director is looking to recruit an Administrator, to report into the Head of Finance and support with Finance Administration and Production Administration, that directly impacts the Finance team.

This finance and production administration job will support across the finance team with all general administration duties relating to invoice processing and data administration, whilst also processing the release paperwork for production and updating appropriate schedules. You will also collate and analyse data on production efficiencies to be used by the senior finance team with operational staff to drive margins.

This is a fantastic role for someone who has recently finished college or an apprenticeship and looking to develop either in finance or production. However please read the requirements before applying.

The requirements:

  • You must be a confident individual, able to communicate effectively at all levels, this is a significantly important part of the role to be successful.
  • You must be educated to A Level or equivalent with a C or above in Maths GCSE.
  • Training will be provided, however you must have a good level of IT literacy and be proficient with Microsoft word and excel.
  • You must be local and be able to drive as there will be some travel to another site from time to time.

You will be working for an experience Head of Finance who has been with the business for 8 years and therefore is a fountain of knowledge and she is an extremely supportive line manager. You may have the opportunity to further study in the future with a course relating to your role such as business administration or AAT. Development opportunities will also be granted upon success, this business has a really low staff retention which is a testament to their culture.

Salary is depending on your experience, up to £25,000 but you will also receive a range of benefits including an increased holiday allowance.
