Hawthorn Drive Surgery are looking for a part‑time (30 hours per week) Care Navigator/Receptionist to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and confident in dealing with members of the public in a calm and professional manner, while delivering excellent customer service. You will need some flexibility to open and close and cover morning (8.00am to 1.00 pm) and afternoons (1.00pm to 6.30 pm). This will be discussed before any offer can be made.
Main duties of the job
- Welcoming all patients and visitors to the surgery
- Dealing with enquiries from patients and external agencies in person and over the telephone
- Signposting patients to the correct service
- Completing new patient registrations
- Filing, photocopying, scanning
- Recalling patients for reviews, chronic disease clinics etc.
