Haworth Brotherton Solicitors is seeking a motivated and client-focused Solicitor (Non-Contentious) to join our established and growing practice. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of non-contentious matters, provide high-quality legal advice, and contribute to the long-term development of the firm, with a genuine opportunity for progression to partnership. This role is ideal for a solicitor who values strong client relationships, professional autonomy, and long-term career development within a respected local firm.
Key Responsibilities- Managing a caseload of non-contentious legal matters from instruction to completion
- Advising clients on residential and commercial conveyancing transactions
- Preparing wills and advising on estate planning
- Handling probate and estate administration matters
- Advising on and preparing powers of attorney
- Undertaking Court of Protection work where required
- Maintaining regular, clear and professional communication with clients
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Contributing to business development and the ongoing growth of the firm
- Working collaboratively with partners and colleagues to maintain high service standards
- Engaging in ongoing training and professional development
- Working closely with partners and benefiting from mentoring and support
- Developing technical expertise and client management skills
- Progressing towards increased responsibility and leadership within the firm
- Qualified solicitor in England and Wales
- Experience in non-contentious work
- Strong organisational and time management skills
