Hawkwood are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing, award-winning media and marketing agency to find a People Advisor to join their collaborative People team. Our client has built an exceptional reputation for both their client work and employee experience, and they're now looking for an ambitious HR professional to play a key role in supporting their continued growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a People Advisor who enjoys combining operational excellence with relationship building, while also looking for a clear pathway into a People Manager position. You'll gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle, partner closely with managers across the business, and take ownership of key People processes, all while being supported to develop your coaching, advisory and business partnering capabilities.

What are some of the things you can expect to be doing?
- Managing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions and contract changes, ensuring a seamless employee experience
- Partnering with managers to provide first-line HR advice across employee relations, performance management and people processes
- Taking ownership of HR systems, payroll administration and reporting, ensuring accurate data and driving continuous process improvements
- Supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, helping to deliver an exceptional candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding
- Contributing to People initiatives across learning & development, employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion, helping to shape a high-performing culture
You will be a good fit if you have:
- Previous experience in a People Advisor or HR Advisor role, with exposure across the full employee lifecycle
- Experience working with HiBob, alongside payroll or people administration
- A solid understanding of UK employment law and confidence supporting managers with employee relations matters
- Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- You're ambitious, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to progress into a People Manager position within a growing business
