Hawkwood is partnering with a fast-growing, VC-backed B2B technology scale-up to hire a Senior Talent Partner as they enter their next phase of growth. The business has built strong product-market fit in a complex and rapidly evolving market, 10x ARR since 2022, and recently raised a $24m Series B to support its next chapter.
Importantly, this isn't a growth-at-all-costs story. They’ve scaled deliberately, built an impressive customer base and maintained exceptionally strong customer retention while investing in the quality of the team around them. They’re now evolving their Talent function and looking for a Senior Talent Partner to take ownership of hiring across GTM and G&A.
This is an opportunity to operate as a genuine Talent partner rather than simply owning recruitment delivery. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and G&A, helping them think through hiring plans, capability requirements and how their teams need to evolve as the business scales.
The environment is deliberately quality over volume, typically around 5–6 live searches at a time, giving you the space to invest properly in market mapping, proactive sourcing, assessment and candidate experience. Importantly, there’s meaningful scope beyond hiring. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and contribute to projects across AI and automation, Talent technology, data and insights, hiring processes and employer brand, helping shape how the Talent function operates as the company grows.
What you'll be doing:
- Own end-to-end hiring across GTM and G&A
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand and challenge hiring requirements
- Build detailed market maps and proactively engage high-quality passive talent
- Bring external market intelligence and data into hiring decisions
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience
- Help evolve hiring processes, assessment and Talent infrastructure
- Own and contribute to broader projects across AI, automation, technology, data and employer brand
About you:
You’ll be an experienced Talent Partner with a background in VC-backed B2B technology, ideally within a scaling start-up or scale-up. You’ll have strong experience recruiting across GTM functions and be comfortable partnering with senior commercial leaders, challenging briefs and operating with a high degree of autonomy. You’ll also want more than a pure delivery role. You’ll be commercially curious, interested in technology and excited by the opportunity to combine hands-on recruitment with meaningful project work.
Why join?
You’ll be joining a business with 10x ARR growth, fresh $24m Series B funding and strong product-market fit, while it’s still at a stage where you can have genuine influence. You’ll have ownership of the GTM and G&A hiring agenda, direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to help shape a modern, technology-enabled Talent function as the business scales. The culture is ambitious, collaborative and low-ego, with a high degree of trust and autonomy.
London-based with a flexible hybrid model, typically around 2 days per week in the office.
