Hawkwood are excited to be partnering with a leading VC backed Consumer Tech scale up to hire a Senior People Partner to support its Product and Engineering organisation on a 9 month FTC, working directly with the CTO. The business has built a market leading platform that is transforming a large consumer category through data, product innovation and operational excellence. As they continue to scale rapidly, they are investing heavily in how AI can reshape both product development and internal operations, with the People team playing a central role in this evolution.
This role sits within a highly regarded People function operating at significant pace and partnering with one of the most innovative areas of the business. The successful candidate will be thoughtful, commercially minded and highly credible with senior stakeholders. You’ll need to have strong critical thinking skills, excellent judgement and the ability to navigate complexity.
Despite this being an FTC, this is an opportunity to join a highly progressive People team at a pivotal moment for the business. The role offers true strategic exposure, close partnership with senior leadership and the chance to help shape how an AI enabled People function operates.
What will you be doing?
- Partner closely with the CTO, Product and Engineering leadership teams, alongside the wider People function, across strategic people priorities
- Support organisational design, workforce planning and future capability discussions within a rapidly evolving AI enabled environment
- Provide insight and challenge to leaders around team effectiveness, management capability and organisational performance
- Contribute to wider People projects linked to organisational effectiveness, long term workforce strategy and business growth
- Build strong relationships across Product and Engineering, acting as a trusted advisor and sounding board to senior stakeholders
- Support the continued evolution of an AI first People function, identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve ways of working
Who We Are Looking For
- Available immediately or on a short notice period due to a start date at the end of June
- Experience operating in a senior People Partnering role within a high growth scale up. (Experience partnering closely with a CTO would be a significant advantage)
- Strong critical thinking and problem framing skills, with the confidence to challenge priorities and focus teams on what genuinely matters
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capability, particularly within senior or technical environments
- Highly attentive and intellectually curious, with the ability to absorb complex information quickly
- Experience supporting organisational design, workforce planning or organisational effectiveness initiatives
