Hawkwood is excited to be partnering with a high growth, Series C fintech on a mission to support small to medium independent businesses on their growth journey. Our client was founded in 2019 with their HQ in London. They now operate across Europe, building integrated payment and software tools that help businesses run smarter operations and grow sustainably. They are a product led business, scaling at pace and building a high performance culture with their mission at the centre of their ambition.

As they continue to scale, they are looking for a Senior People Partner to support their Product and Marketing organisation. This role will partner closely with the Chief Product Officer and Marketing leaders to align people strategy with product vision, roadmap delivery and GTM priorities.

What you will be doing:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the Chief Product Officer and Product and Marketing leadership, aligning people strategy with product roadmap and growth objectives
  • Partnering on organisation design, team structure and role clarity to enable scale and cross functional collaboration
  • Leading workforce and capability planning across Product, Design, Data and Marketing
  • Coaching leaders to strengthen performance, feedback and accountability
  • Using people data and insights to inform decisions around capacity, skills and future needs
  • Driving performance, engagement, compensation and succession cycles
  • Building and embedding strong foundations across hiring, onboarding, development and performance
  • Partnering with Finance and Operations on headcount planning, levelling and investment decisions
  • Navigating complex change and transformation

What we are looking for:

  • An experienced People Partner who has ideally supported Product or Marketing teams in a high growth, fast scaling environment
  • A strong understanding of how product organisations scale in practice, from roadmap delivery and dependencies to talent density and leadership capability
  • Someone who builds credibility quickly with senior stakeholders and is comfortable influencing in high performance, opinionated environments
  • Commercially minded and data informed, with a pragmatic and outcomes focused approach
  • Clear, confident and resilient, knowing when to challenge, when to coach and when to step in
  • Passionate about building environments where talented people can do their best work and deliver meaningful impact
