Hawkwood are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join an Index Ventures-backed, consumer-tech start-up on a fractional, part-time basis for a 3-month contract.

You will operate in a standalone capacity, owning the entire recruitment lifecycle across a broad range of roles - primarily non-technical positions including Customer Support, Finance, Sales and more.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to define hiring priorities, source and manage candidates, and guide them through the interview process - right through to offer stage and onboarding.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating the ATS and HRIS to ensure a smooth, efficient recruitment process. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being embedded in a business, having real ownership, and making a genuine impact on growth, without being tied to a full-time role.

What you will be doing:

  • Partnering with hiring managers to scope roles and define hiring needs
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, offers
  • Prioritising hiring needs and recommending best hiring strategies
  • Keeping the ATS updated and organised
  • Helping shape a consistent and candidate-friendly recruitment process
  • Working remotely, with occasional on-site meetings in London

What we are looking for:

  • Solid experience in a standalone in-house recruitment or talent acquisition role
  • Strong track record hiring across a variety of non-technical roles
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy and managing multiple vacancies
  • Confident stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused
  • Ideally available to start by Mon 17th November 2025
