Hawksworth are helping a global consultancy recruit for an AutoRek / SQL Software Engineer for a 1-year inside IR35 Contract. Edinburgh OR Bristol based with x2 days on site per week Hybrid working, 3 days remote.
The job involves:
- Involved in the full end-to-end project lifecycle.
- Responsible for the design/development/configuration of the reconciliation solution.
- Providing technical support and guidance during the design/analysis and testing phases.
- Delivering training and post-implementation support to the end users.
- Third party application development & support.
- Good communication skills at all levels, participating in meetings and workshops.
- Software processes, including governance, confirmation control and release management.
- Experience of MS Development tools: SSMS, Visual Studio, Report Builder.
- Complex SQL scripting on tables/views/stored procedures/functions.
- Strong SQL analysis and issue resolution skills.
- Experience using large/complex databases.
- Ability to build scalable and performant SQL procedures.
