Hawksworth are hiring! We are recruiting for a trusted global client who are looking for a Contract BASE24-eps Developer (Inside IR35).
Rate: Negotiable and to be discussed, but good market rates.
Term: 12 months initially, hopeful that will extend.
Working: Hybrid, x3 days in the office, x2 days remote per week.
The job: This is a senior, experienced BASE24-eps Developer position to provide end-to-end development across payment systems with a focus on modernizing and evolving the BASE24 platform. In this role, you will act as BASE24-eps Developer, customizing different BASE24-eps components based on the requirements, scripting, including the migration from BASE24-classic to BASE24-eps.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end Development for BASE24-eps system.
- Understand the Customer requirements and Prepare the Design/Functional Specifications if necessary.
- End to end Unit Test Plan with execution strategy which includes all the development related core changes.
- Prepare the Implementation plan for Test & Production Systems.
- Hands-on involvement in BASE24-classic to BASE24-eps migration programmes.
Required skills & experience:
- Strong experience and solid understanding of BASE24-eps development and transaction processing flows.
- Understanding of Script uses and its customization.
- Experience working on large-scale payment switch system (ATM, POS, SWITCH).
- Deep Knowledge of IS08583 messaging (VISA/LINK), Journals, TDEs, Tokens, STM/PSTM.
- BASE24-eps system configuration and control, Layers, Integrated Server, SAF/Context Manager, Database Tables, Perl make.
- HP nonstop tandem architecture, PATHWAY, TACL, Enscribe, C/C++, Java, XPNET/NCPCOM.
- Experience in Development, Scripting & Compilations.
- Transaction monitoring, debugging, inspect and configurations.
- Strong understanding of BASE24-eps Configurations (Message Delivery, Prefix, Router, Authorization, HISO/BICI, Acquirer, Issuer, Process Control, Environments Management), Trace, DALCI Web Services configuration and controls, TSS, ACI desktop.
- Solid understanding of HSM integration, key management, PIN block formats and cryptography in a payment context.
- Hands-on experience with payment security standards: PCI DSS, 3-D Secure, tokenization and EMV.
