Hawksworth UK are hiring 1 Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer to join a forward-thinking, engineering-led financial services organisation transforming its core platforms.
The Roles
- Lead Engineer – £110k–£115k + 10–15% bonus + excellent package
- Remote-first, with occasional travel to London or Potters Bar.
- Building and evolving a modern Ruby on Rails mortgage platform
- Designing scalable, secure, and resilient systems used at real-world scale
- Working in product-aligned, empowered teams with true ownership
- Driving CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation across the stack
- (Lead) Setting technical direction and mentoring engineers

- Strong Ruby on Rails experience (MVC, APIs)
