Hawksworth UK are now hiring a Network Engineer on a Permanent basis for a Global FinTech (Wealth Platforms & Solutions) in London. This is a Permanent role offering up to £75,000 + 8% Non-contributory Pension scheme, Private Health, hybrid working (1 day per week in the office).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and automated network solutions across our clients' global infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems, leveraging DevOps practices to streamline deployments and operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53).
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler products (ZIA, ZPA).
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments.
- Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
- Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Terraform desirable).
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud-based security models.
- Basic understanding of SSO and identity protocols (OIDC, SAML2).
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and service mesh technologies.
