Hawksworth are now searching for a talented, Senior Microsoft Security Architect. This is a senior post so we do need tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect. The role: Ideally hybrid working from Belfast OR Tampa or Chicago OR remote from the UK with travel to meetings when required. Salary: £100 – £120k Must have significant tenure as an Architect, background in IT / Cloyd security, Azure, M365 environments, Microsoft Defender etc. The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will provide technical expertise in the secure design, implementation, and development of the firm’s M365 environment. The architect will develop and implement policies to ensure the security and availability of the firm’s M365 applications. Responsibilities: Responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of a secure M365 environment for the firm Lead the adoption and use of Microsoft cloud security technologies in the firm. Act as SME for Microsoft security suite with specialist responsibilities in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365 The Microsoft Security architect we are looking for needs to be well versed and experienced in Azure cloud technology and migration so that they can immediately bring benefit to the firm’s Azure cloud adoption, and act as a leader not only to the security team but to other technical teams in the firm. It would be ideal if your also knowledgeable in AWS, GCP. Security wise you will be knowledgeable in CASB, CSPM and IAM, SIEM etc. Required Skills & experience: Tenure as a Microsoft Security Architect in a blue-chip client Strong Azure experience Experience of a Cloud Adoption project Computer Science Bachelor’s degree Good demonstrable experience managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms Some AWS and/ or Google cloud platforms CCSP and CCSK preferred Experience of CISSP, SSCP, CRISC or CGEIT would be beneficial Experience as a MS Azure Cloud Architect or Engineer is preferred Working knowledge of SOAR concepts and toolsets Authoritative understanding of data communications and information systems hardware, software, and design principles such as VPN, segmentation, WAF, access control, CASB.
