Position: Senior Product Software Engineer (C#/Automation/AI)
Salary: 75k GBP + 10% bonus + up to 21% pension

Our client are a global investment firm embracing Automation & AI to improve their market leading products.
We need an Engineer to come onboard who has embraced GenAI and uses it for development (C#), and no longer needs to write line after line of code.
Automation is key. The Engineer will be able to write CI/CD pipelines and be hands-on throughout the SDLC, not just writing code and handing it over to production, we need you to understand how things are built as well as how to develop, if you build it...you run it!
You will work at every stage of the product lifecycle, from discovery and design, through implementation and testing, to operational support, always with the customer and the outcome in mind.
Having a Product Focus:
You'll also need to have a Product mind-set, understanding the customer and business impact of what you're doing, and be able to produce customer insights and get real value from the data.
You'll work closely with the Product Managers, designers and the users, in order to understand their problems and 'hopefully' how to resolve them.
Our client use GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy for their pipelines, but an understanding of the principles behind CI/CD is more important than the specific tooling you have used. You will have worked in an environment that deploys regularly to production.
