Hawksworth UK are now hiring for two Production Support Software Engineers to work for a global FinTech client that specialise in Wealth Management Solutions & IT Platforms. The successful candidates will support the UK Production Support Team delivering high-quality support to the internal teams & clients where you will help resolve issues, assist with version upgrades and contribute to continuous improvement.
Location: London (City)
Hybrid working: 1 day in the office per week (Thursday)
Required skills & experience:
- 10 years Production Support experience
- Java / Spring experience – Essential
- Writing Data Correction scripts and Writing SQL scripts
- Software Engineering and SDLC experience
- Excellent communication skills, happy talking and helping internal teams and clients
- Degree education in an IT related subject
- Experience with application servers (Jboss/WebSphere)
- Experience in writing SQL query reports and data correction scripts including writing stored procedures in SQL Server
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with DevOps automation (CI/CD, Helm, Terraform) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch)
- Financial Service experience is highly desirable, as is Wealth Management industry and FIX Protocol/trading platforms
