Position: Senior Network Security Engineer (NIST / CIS benchmark)

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

Location: Guildford, Surrey

If you’re a seasoned IT Infrastructure Engineer with extensive Network & Security experience (CIS benchmarks / NIST), this role is for you. Our client is one of the largest financial services companies in the world, so having previous enterprise-wide experience for a financial institution is essential. Their UK head office is in Surrey. This is a very broad role, so there’s no chance you’ll be getting bored anytime soon.

Experience:

  • One or more of CISA, CISSP or CRISC
  • Good working knowledge of NIST and COBIT frameworks
  • Data centre/network and workplace architectures
  • Security tooling, risk analysis, or governance roles
  • TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SMTP, proxy servers, email gateways, firewalls, and routing devices
  • ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and ITIL
  • Languages such as PowerShell, Python for configuration and compliance checks
  • Vulnerability management tools and practices
  • (IAM) principles and technologies
