Hawksworth have a new vacancy opening for a Deputy Head of Finance for a European Investment Bank based in London.
The Deputy Head of Finance has a primary responsibility to coordinate and functionally supervise the preparation of the Branch’s accounting, internal and external financial reporting and analysis (e.g. liquidity reporting), regulatory reporting (UK/FR/EU) and adherence to control framework and associated reporting. Covers for the Head of Finance when absent.
Tax-related subjects: Assists with Corporation Tax/Banking Surcharge preparation; Assists with ad-hoc queries/calculation (e.g. Bank Levy, CATA).
Project work: Participates in transversal and/or HO projects; Assists with ad hoc requests relating to IT/projects for the Branch.
- 5 - 10 years Finance Industry experience
- Experience working for a European Bank
- Good knowledge of Accounting / Financial control / Financial reporting
- Ability or experience to deputise for the Head of Finance in times of absence
- English – fluent
- French – Desirable
