Hawksworth are looking for a ‘Cloud DevOps Engineer’ for a global Fintech client. This is a Fixed-Term Contract to cover maternity leave, initially for 6 months but it might be extended. This position is based in London with hybrid working, requiring 2 days a week in the office.

The successful ‘Cloud DevOps Engineer’ will work in the Technology department and report to the Infrastructure Services Manager. You will help reduce the friction in the client’s deployment pipeline, enabling more frequent and faster deployment and testing of changes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Kubernetes - 25% of the role
  • AWS services - 25% of the role
  • Terragrunt / Terraform - 10% of the role
  • GitOps - 20% of the role
  • Observability Tooling - 15% of the role
  • CI/CD - 5% of the role

Essential skills & experience:

  • Kubernetes
  • AWS (EKS, RDS, DMS, Proxy, AWS Backup, API Gateway, RabbitMQ, Lambda – Python, IAM)
  • Terragrunt / Terraform
  • GitOps
  • Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, CloudWatch
  • CI/CD
  • Golden Images for Windows
