As our clients Lead SRE you will drive initiatives that create and improve the CI ‘Platform as a Service’ (Paas) offering to the product delivery teams, as well as implementing the CI cloud governance policy, and define/implement the tooling, continually improving our client's software development, release and maintenance processes.
Your day to day will be working with delivery teams deploying software on the cloud and providing strategic technical / SRE leadership to the rest of the team. You'll have hands on experience in delivering production quality services and experience supporting live production systems.
Must have experience:
- Terraform - Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- 3+ years of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Software dev experience in either Go or Python
- DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and version control e.g. Git.
- Observability and monitoring tools e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK etc
Nice to haves...
- Designing, building and maintaining multitenant and multi-region cloud infrastructure.
- Ansible or SaltStack.
- Cyber security, IAM, Data security, AppSec, Cyptography.
- IoT systems integration/protocols
- Networking concepts and network performance modelling / optimisation.
- Hashicorp tools like Vault or Consul.
